Speaker Spotlight features the individuals and organizations who join our club meetings to share knowledge, insight, and perspective on issues shaping our community. These speakers help us better understand local needs, opportunities, and challenges while strengthening our commitment to service. Topics may include community wellness, education, veterans support, public safety, leadership, local history, and nonprofit outreach. Recent spotlights have included organizations such as the Medical University of South Carolina, Lowcountry Veterans Home, and Jean’s Angels, reflecting the broad range of voices and missions that help inform and inspire our members.

Fallen Heroes

Fallen Heroes is our tribute to South Carolina service members who gave their lives in service to our country. As part of our Americanism mission, we share their names and stories so their sacrifice is remembered with gratitude, dignity, and respect. Several times each year, during patriotic holiday flag displays across the Kiawah-Seabrook area, each flag includes the name of a Fallen Hero as a visible reminder that freedom has a personal cost. This section helps preserve those stories, honor the lives behind the names, and encourage our community to pause and remember.
